Ulmer, Fritz Lang, Peter Lorre, Karl Freund... con loro però migliaia di altri tecnici e artisti trovarono possibilità di lavoro talmente precarie da stroncarne spesso la carriera. I cineasti ebrei portarono a Hollywood una vera rivoluzione, di forma e di contenuto, anche nei generi più classici del cinema americano.
